On May 25, 2018, the new EU Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) came into force, which is why Aluproject Srl would like to provide some information regarding how Customers' personal data is processed.

Aluproject Srl is the Data Controller (hereinafter referred to as "the Data Controller"), which collects and processes the customer's personal contact data during the commercial relationship established with the same.

All personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws: 

  1. How we collect and use personal data
    In general, we manage contact data (such as your address, email address and telephone number) and information such as your job title, which the Data Controller may request. The aforementioned personal data is processed if and to the extent that the applicable law provides a legal basis for doing so, therefore: a) if there is a need to perform the contract we have entered into; b) if there is a need to comply with a legal obligation.
  2. How we handle personal data
    Personal data is stored in databases managed by the Data Controller and also used in paper format. In both cases, the personal data provided is handled in accordance with the data protection standards required by applicable law. The data will not be disclosed, communicated, transferred to third parties or transferred abroad, except in cases expressly provided for by law.
  3. Data retention
    The data will be retained for no longer than is necessary and in accordance with our data retention policy. We will only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected and processed, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, regulatory, accounting or reporting requirements.
  4. The rights of the interested party
    You have the right as an individual to exercise, in certain circumstances and in relation to the personal data we hold about you, the following:
    – request access to personal data (commonly known as “data subject access request”) and request certain information in relation to the processing;
    -request rectification of personal data;
    - request the deletion of personal data;
    - request the limitation of the processing of personal data;
    -object to the processing of personal data.
    - to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor Authority.
